Audrey is 1!

In March our beautiful little Audrey turned 1 year old!  It has been such a joy to have this sweet, fun little girl in our family.

Ethan and Claire looked forward to their baby sister's birthday for at least a month.  They had so much fun decorating, wrapping presents, and of course picking out the cake and frosting.  Ethan also made the sweetest little birthday cards for Audrey that we'll probably keep forever.

 So, Audrey is baby #3, which means that there is nothing she really NEEDS that we don't already have.  Most of her presents were hand-me-downs that we kept out of sight the month leading up to the big day!  Claire picked out a Sleeping Beauty cell phone to keep Audrey entertained during diaper changes.

 Audrey's BIG present was "new" from the thrift store.

 We don't let our babies have any treats until their first birthdays.  Ethan and Claire got a kick out of the way Audrey picked up her whole cake.  She was not as impressed with her first bite of ice cream as baby Dawnell was, but she'll catch on eventually.

How cute is this?  They are wearing green to celebrate the first day of Spring.

Audrey was so excited to see David, who had been in Malawi for two weeks.  He brought home a cute bracelet for her.  Happy, happy girl.  :)
